Jean Georges Restaurant is located on the ground level of Trump Towers, at the pristine address of 1Central Park West.
Jean Georges is open for breakfast through to dinner but we decided to check out their breakfast menu (breakfast is my absolute favorite meal of the day!). The restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. It has been awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. The local farmer’s market is the driving force behind the seasonal, ever-changing menu (and you can definitely taste how beautifully fresh the ingredients are!).
Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience.
Also the crowd it attracts is a plus. We were surrounded by bankers and men in the business world cutting cheques and making deals. It really made the restaurant feel buzzy and alive. There is a dresscode: gentleman are required to wear a jacket. No jeans, sweatshirts or sneakers allowed (tie is not required). HOWEVER, I think they are relaxed at breakfast time. We stopped in after our morning walk in sneakers and gym gear and they didn’t blink an eye!
A MUST DO IN NYC!
