Need some new frames?

Hey Foxes!

You know that feeling you get when you finish the last page of a good book? That euphoric, giddy high? I’m kinda on that right now and wanted to share the book with you. It’s called Love Letters of Great Men. It is full of extracts from all the great Romantics. From the private papers of Mark Twain and Mozart to those of Robert Browning and Nelson. Love Letters of Great Men collects together some of the most romantic letters in history. My biggest take out is that it shows that perhaps men haven’t changed that much over the last 2,000 years; passion, jealousy, hope and longing are all represented here – as is the simple pleasure of sending a letter to, and receiving one from, the person you love most. It’s a little soppy and very Carrie-Sex and the City-esque, but a book you can pick up and get stuck into at anytime.

I read most of mine at Little H in Parsons Green over a coffee and green juice (trying to be healthy!).

I also wanted to show you my new frames! I have wanted black wide frames for AGESSSS but just never got around to finding some. Frames can be expensive, so putting $$ aside for them never seemed to happen and I also get really indecisive in store. I came across FIRMOO which are an online store for prescription glasses. I was a bit sceptical about purchasing frames online as I wasn’t sure how they would fit  (I have a HUGE noggin) but they give you dimensions which is super handy.

The best thing though seriously – is the price. It’s like Zara of shades and glasses. They have awesome frames and styles at super super cheap prices – so I wasn’t scared to take the plunge and purchase some to see if they suited me.

And they did!

Super happy and think I’m going to try and find a similar style in tortoise shell.

You can get yours here. Mine are under the code “#DBSN65074” if you wanted to find them.

Lots of love,

Spicedfox. x
